Terrazzo Floor Restoration in Cricklewood, London, NW2

There is nothing better than bringing beautiful terrazzo floors like this back to the full glory that they deserve. This project our team completed in Cricklewood NW2, London, was an extensive terrazzo repair and restoration. We utilised a variety of different techniques to bring this terrazzo back to life, but the finished product looked amazing!

We started this terrazzo restoration project with an aggressive diamond grinding and floor levelling using metal bond diamond segments. This removes the old and damaged surface layer of the terrazzo and exposes a fresh surface below. It also helps identify any significant cracks or holes that need to be repaired.

The next step in the restoration is to repair any holes and cracks that are in the original terrazzo. Over time, houses and buildings move, and this can lead to cracks appearing in the terrazzo flooring. During the restoration process, we repair all these cracks and holes to leave you with a finished surface that looks amazing.

Next, we poured a terrazzo mix to match the existing 120-year-old existing terrazzo floor perfectly. After that, we move onto the diamond polishing stage of the restoration which smooths out the entire floor and leaves you with a brilliantly polished surface. The final part of this intricate restoration process was to seal the entire terrazzo floor with a sealant that helps to protect the terrazzo and makes it easier to clean and maintain.
