The following project was a complete marble restoration that Real Shine Stone completed in Canary Wharf, London. As you can see from the series of photos that we took throughout the project, the restoration made some significant improvements in the marble lift floor.

We started this restoration project by repairing all the damaged, cracked, and broken marble tiles throughout the lift floor area. The next step in the project was to ensure that any loose marble tiles were fixed down before moving onto the next stage.

Once all the damaged, cracked, broken, and loose tiles were repaired, we started with removing the existing grout and re-grouting the entire marble floor with a long-lasting epoxy resin. After this, the floor was ready to be ground down using a diamond grinding machine to take the top layer of the marble off and leave a smooth, even, and clean surface.

The final step in the process was diamond polishing to put a beautiful polish on the floor, which is then finished off with a marble floor sealant to help protect the marble for years to come. Sealing the marble floor not only protects it, but it also makes it easier to clean and maintain.
