This tumbled limestone floor tiles restoration project was an extensive restoration of a residential home in Northaw, EN6. Over time limestone floors can become quite dull from continued foot traffic and general wear and tear. Restoration can help to leave your limestone floor looking amazing, just as good as the day it was installed, if not better!

We started this project by doing a thorough grout cleaning of the entire tumbled limestone floor area. If any damaged grout section were identified at this stage, they would be repaired or replaced.

The next step of the process was to diamond grind the entire top layer of the limestone floor to help remove the aged and dirty top layer while levelling the floor at the same time. After this was completed the next step was to polish the entire limestone floor to help restore the polish and lustre of the limestone.

The final step in the restoration process is to apply a sealant coat to the limestone floor. This top sealant coat not only helps to protect the limestone floor, but it also makes the limestone floor easier to clean and maintain for many years to come.
