Concrete Exposed Aggregates Grinding, Polishing & Sealing
This project we completed was a large, exposed aggregate concrete floor for a client. When you grind and polish the top layer of concrete flooring, it leaves you with an amazing visual alternative to plain, dull, grey concrete.
To get a beautiful finish on the concrete floor, we have a detailed step-by-step process that we follow to bring out the best in the concrete floor. We started this concrete polishing process with an aggressive fourteen grit metal bond diamond grinding. This takes the entire top layer of the concrete off and exposes the internal stone inside the concrete.
The next step is diamond polishing of the entire concrete surface. This leaves the concrete with a beautifully smooth and polished surface. Next, we carefully go over the entire area to fix and fil any small pinholes in the concrete before the final step in the process.
The final step in the concrete grinding is to seal the entire concrete floor with a sealing layer that helps to protect the concrete and make it easy to maintain and clean. We finish the entire project with a final polish to leave the concrete floor looking amazing!
