Terrazzo Restoration in Battersea Park, London

This was a large terrazzo restoration in a commercial property in Battersea Park, London, that our team of qualified and professional contractors recently undertook. As you can see from the before and after photos, the terrazzo floor looked amazing once the project was completed!

We began the project by fixing and repairing the terrazzo dividers throughout the terrazzo floor. During this repair process, we poured terrazzo mix (coloured cement and aggregates) which was perfectly matched into damaged areas to leave them looking just like the original terrazzo.

The next step in the restoration process was diamond grinding the entire terrazzo floor with an aggressive metal bond diamond fourteen grit grinding disc. This takes the top layer of the terrazzo flooring off while also leveling the entire floor. After diamond grinding, we moved onto diamond polishing to restore the beautiful shine and polish of the original terrazzo.

The final stage of the restoration process was to apply a sealant coat to help protect the terrazzo floor and then a final buff to give it that beautiful shine.
